The best work starts with a meaningful operational problem, access to the systems involved, and people who can make decisions.
The job is clear.
You can describe it in a paragraph. If it is really five jobs, we pick the one that hurts most and start there.
The systems are reachable.
We can get accounts on the tools involved in the first week. Waiting three weeks on access is how a 30-day build becomes a 90-day one.
One person can decide.
Someone can approve the rules, the limits, and the rollout without taking it to a committee each time.
Someone who does the work has time.
A few hours a week from the person who actually does the job. They know the exceptions, and the exceptions are the whole thing.
