Vextras is a small team of senior engineers, all US-based, all ten or more years into a production career. We do not subcontract. The person you talk to is the person writing your code.
We started in 2007 building custom software shaped around how each client's business actually runs. Since then, we have built customer-facing products, multi-platform integration layers, shared data models, APIs, queues, webhooks, reconciliation systems, and the tools required to operate all of it.
AI now changes what those systems can do—and how quickly we can build them. But the rule has not changed. The software has to work on a Tuesday, on real data, for someone who did not build it. So we work inside the problem, build through every layer it requires, and keep it running.
For more than a decade we have run the integrations connecting Mailchimp with Shopify, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce for hundreds of thousands of businesses—keeping millions of accounts, customers, products, orders, and carts in step across platforms. We still ship updates to those systems today.

We stay small on purpose.
Senior engineers, in-house, US-based. Nobody stands between you and the person writing the code. Growing would add the layers we are trying to avoid.
We own what we build.
We do not hand off a repo and disappear. We watch the system in use, fix what breaks, and keep it working after the interesting part is over.
What we take responsibility for
The part after launch is the part that counts.
Anyone can demo something. The question is what happens in month four, when a vendor changes an API, a form gets a new field, or the person who understood the workflow leaves.
We build the system so that failure is visible instead of silent, and we stay close enough to fix it. If we built it, we answer for it. That is also why we stay small — we only take on what we can still be responsible for a year later.
