Details

After activation, the Vextras Highrise app integration works quietly in the background. When orders are placed in your ecommerce store, details flow to your Highrise account in just a few seconds. Also, when order statuses change, we’ll post new notes in Highrise reflecting any updated status.

Requirements

  • 3dcart, Bigcommerce, WooCommerce or Volusion shopping carts
  • Vextras account
  • Highrise account

Setup

  1. Login to your Vextras account
  2. Confirm your store is connected
  3. Click the ‘Add New’ in the bottom left corner
  4. Select ‘Add New App’
  5. Choose ‘Highrise’
  6. Enter your Highrise URL
  7. Paste in your Highrise API token
  8. Optional: Map order tags for different order types
  9. Save

Your API token can be located by logging into your Highrise account > ‘Accounts & Settings’ > ‘My info’ > ‘API Token’

Overview Dashboard

The overview dashboard will show a summary of the app’s event activity. Each widget shows the total count of events that have occurred during the last seven days.

  • Status – whether the app integration is on or off
  • Order updates – number of times an order update has been posted in your Highrise account
  • Contacts updated – number of contacts that have been added or updated through the integration
  • Notes created – number of notes posted to your Highrise account

Contacts

Adding Contacts

On checkout, we submit a customer’s email address to Highrise. If an email is not found, it will add a new contact. If a previous customer email is found, information will be merged from the latest order details. This information includes the address and phone number of the contact.

Adding Anonymous Contacts

Our integration adds or updates anonymous contacts in Highrise. We cross reference the name and address of the customer when adding or merging customer data.

Notes

New Order Notes

When an order takes place in a store, we create a new note in Highrise.

Note Details
  • Order ID
  • Store name
  • Order amount
  • Order linkage
  • Products sold
  • Quantity sold
  • Billing address
  • Shipping Address
Order Update Notes

When a new order update happens place in a store, we create a new note in Highrise. For example, an order changes from ‘Processing’ to ‘Shipped’.

Update Note Details
  • Order ID
  • Store name
  • Status update
  • Order linkage

Order Tags

You can set order tags for any type of transaction that occurs in your store. Please note, these values must currently be available in Highrise before they can be mapped. Mappings vary for each type of shopping cart that is supported.

3dcart Order Tags
  • Web – tag applied when customers place their orders through the standard web checkout method
  • Anonymous – tag applied when customers do not create an account at checkout
Bigcommerce Order Tags
  • Phone – tag applied when an order is added manually through the admin area
  • Web – tag applied when customers place their orders through the standard web checkout method
  • Anonymous – tag applied when customers do not create an account at checkout
Volusion Order Tags
  • Amazon – tag applied when an order is placed on Amazon
  • Phone – tag applied when an order is added manually through the admin area
  • Web – tag applied when customers place their orders through the standard web checkout method
  • Anonymous – tag applied when customers do not create an account at checkout

Logs

Event logs are generated in the Vextras Highrise app log area on any successful (or failed) event.

New Order Logs
  • Status – success or failure
  • Order ID
  • Customer ID
  • Customer email
  • Details – “friendly description” of event and linkage to Highrise note
Contact Logs
  • Status – success or failure
  • Order ID
  • Customer ID
  • Customer email
  • Details – “friendly description” of event and linkage to Highrise contact
Order Update Logs
  • Status – success or failure
  • Order ID
  • Customer ID

  • Details – “friendly description” of event and linkage to Highrise note

More Information

  • Order update notes are triggered when a new status is found. Depending on the shopping cart platform, update times will vary. Please refer to your shopping cart’s order monitoring time capabilities for more information.
  • If your Highrise account reaches a subscription limit, all app submissions from Vextras will fail
